Digital Media Timeline:
A digital Media Timeline is a web-based application that allows you to embed pictures, dates, video and web links to create a timeline which shows a concept, topic, or series of events relating to your project. You will need to choose a Web 2.0 Tool below to craft your timeline. You may want to spend some time exploring each one to determine which you like best. These have basic features that can be used for free, or you can buy a pro account for a few dollars to get the bells and whistles.

Tweet String:
A Tweet string uses the social media application Twitter to craft a mini-project that explores some ideas you will be studying. For a tweet string you will need to create a "Dummy" or project -based Twitter account which you will use to tweet about your topic. You will locate a collection of people to follow who are relevant to your topic, and include some of their tweets in your project. You will tweet news articles, links, photos and other relevant pieces of work that will build us a picture of your project from a Twitter perspective. You can have a lot of fun with this project if you decide to create a twitter feed for a fictional character or perhaps a long-dead famous person who contributed to your topic of study. The Tweet String should show depth of study and understanding of your topic, with relevant ideas, resources, articles and news.

Interlinked Website:
An interlinked website is exactly what it sounds like. You will use your vast knowledge of your subject to craft a website of at least 5 interlinked pages that focus on your topic or issue in more detail. You will need to craft a plan for what each page will be about, and have a good idea how they will all link together to flow nicely into a well-rounded mini-project. You are encouraged to have links to other interesting sites throughout your web, as well as pictures and video clips that you find to be relevant.

Fakebook Project:
What I like about this project is that creating a fake Fakebook profile requires a great deal of higher level thinking. You are going to have to take information and transform it. This forces you to be very creative. A fake Facebook page is an excellent way to see if you understand the concept behind your project.
A Science project might be a little hard for you to envision this working with, but imagine if you pretend that you are a part of a chemical reaction. You could create a profile for a certain compound and tell it’s part in the reaction through the wall posts. This might sound a bit crazy, but I think you might really get into it. You could create a wall page for a famous scientist, a group page or even for a fictional character that links to your project. The main point of this project is for you to showcase what you have learned in a unique and interconnected way on a higher level than just the "factual".
